I made it safely back home after a marathon drive involving 2 minivans, plus a bonus 6 mile bike ride in the middle (from the car rental place to the motel where I had left my own minivan). I will add more to the last few posts tomorrow.

Hey Jim! I can't believe I found this blog of your relating your trip in 2007 with Kent and gang that took him on the final leg of the ABB ride! I was surfing the web and somehow came upon your blog when I clicked on the words "long distance biycling" that was highlighted in my own blog. I had set up a profile in a new blog I have been writing the past week or so. I saw those words highlighted and clicked on it and it took me to all the other blogs that also had those words in their profile. I recognized your profile photo (the one I took with Mt Hood in the background), and knew it was you Jim! I'm going to do another cross country this summer. Chuck DeLaney too wants to go. I've been biking everyday -- even in this 24 degree weather the past few days. Fun!
